Enliven Silicone Free Hair Conditioners Review - Mango and Passionfruit, Raspberry and Red Apple, Kiwi and Fig

I haven’t talked in detail about any hair conditioners on my blog because most of them have stopped working on my hair in 6 months. So I really had nothing to talk about them. Enliven Hair Conditioners are a little different because they are silicone free, so I felt like sharing my thoughts on them. I started out with the Mango & Passionfruit variant, however when I let my mom & sister try it out, they loved it a lot so they purchased the remaining variants – Raspberry & Red appleKiwi & Fig for themselves. All three literally perform the same, the only difference is the fragrance. Raspberry & Red Apple smells the best.

My Experience with Enliven Hair Conditioners :

Texture : The texture of the Enliven conditioners (all variants) isn’t runny but its not thick either. This is the reason why I use a lot of it, its not as thick as other conditioners I’ve used.

Performance : the Enliven conditioners work well on hair for a couple of months. It made by hair really soft & my hair looked good too. After 3-4 months of usage, I felt that this conditioner wasn’t showing me the same results as before, my sister also felt the same. So now we use it by mixing other conditioners with it. It doesn’t give any long term benefits to hair.

Fragrance : The condtioners have a rather strong artificial fragrance, it doesn't bother me, but might be a problem to those with sensitive noses. Mango and Passionfruit one smells intensely of passionfruit while the Strawberry & Red Apple has that distinct strawberry smell. I couldn't put a finger on what the Kiwi & Fig one smells like, it could be either fruit but I haven't smelled those fruits so I can't say for sure.

Packaging : The Enliven conditoners are available only in one large 400ml size, they come in a translucent white bottle. You can see how much product is left in the bottle, so that's very convenient. The bottle has a flip-top cap and you need to squeeze out the product. its alright but once you have very little product at the bottom of the jar, its gonna be difficult to get that out, compared to shampoos which are available in tube packaging.

I was strictly using only this conditioner & another silicone free heat protectant and I would straighten my hair every week. I found that my hair became really weak and I had alot of hairfall. If you’re someone who styles hair with heat regularly then its best that you use a silicone based hair mask in between of using non-silicone products because that will keep your hair strong.

Unfortunately I have only seen it available online and not at any store, neither the general stores nor the beauty shops where you get imported stuff.

Overall Verdict : 3.8/5
The Enliven Hair Conditioners (all varients) are great conditioners available at a really affordable price. It does its job well for few months, after that it needs to be mixed in with other hair masks/conditioners to show the same effect, which is a bummer. I’d definitely recommend it if you are in search of a silicone-free hair product, however, if you regularly style your hair, its best to use a silicone based conditioner.
