Hello! I hope everyone has had an amazing Monday. I know that to a few, the sentence will sound like a paradox, sorry about that! For me, Monday was all about sobering up after having a weekend without parents. Its not often that my parents go out that way, but when they do, me and my sister make the most of it. That is precisely why I have been slacking up on reviews. I planned to review these pencils on Friday, and then Saturday, but it continuously slipped out of my mind, call it the weekend excitement, or whatever. But today I felt pretty guilty, and after sleeping for a good 12 hours, I'm on a mission: write the review for Kryolan Pencils today. Period. No more procrastination.

Review- Liquid Neutrogena Pure Mild Facial Cleanser

I'm a fan of Neutrogena's Deep clean Gentle Scrub. It was the perfect scrub because it was oil free and non-comedogenic and I would use it daily without any fear of drying out my skin. Why Neutrogena choose to discontinue this face wash is a mystery to me, I used 4-5 of the 50ml tubes in a year. Now I'm on the hunt for a good daily scrub having the same properties, but till now, no such luck. Since I had a good experience with Neutrogena I decided to try another one of their products.

Lotus Herbals Kiwi & Grapes Revitalizing Skin Polisher- Review and Swatches

Its a well known fact that you should use gel based products during summer, simply because they are light weight. I for one, don't even like cream based products for body bath, they feel too thick. We both, me and Pranita, use shower gels all year. Once in a while I do use cream based goodies in the bath, but then I always end up feeling hot and warm, even if its cold. During winters I use Shea butters and thick lotions after bath, but in the bath it is always gel. That's why I went for this Lotus Herbals polisher. Apart from the attractive main ingredients( Grapes and Kiwi, oh yea!), this is gel based and not cream!

What the company claims:
Especially formulated for sensitive skin . It gently deep cleanses, tightens pores and rejuvenates skin.

My take on the product:-
Its so pretty looking! And smells good too! Aesthetically speaking, its very appealing, with black and light green/white beads suspended in green gel, I find it very unique, considering its a drugstore product and everything. It also has a stopper underneath the lid.

And the saga of disappointment continues. As if it wasn't bad enough that Midnight Master failed to impress, Bold Brown also showed more misses than hits. I never thought I would ask my money back, but Maybelline, if your reading this post, know that I want a full refund for both the pencils.

You can read the detailed review here.  In this post I will just give a description of the color and show the pictures and swatches of Bold Brown.

The Color:
In one swipe you get a good amount of the brown color. It becomes a deeper brown if you keep layering. On applying slight( and I mean slight) pressure, you get a really nice and deep brown in a single swipe.

The brown color itself is nice and looks very natural on the waterline. I did not see much shimmer on the eyeliner when I applied it, but as you can see in the photos with flash, it has some shimmer particles. But these are not visible in natural lighting, or even artificial lighting, just in the flash. Weird

The good:- 

• Gives a good color in single swipe
• Comes off easily when applied on the waterline.
• Does not smudge
• Creamy, glides on easily, no need to tug or pull your delicate eyes.

The bad:- 

• Bad packaging-not user friendly. 
• Quantity is less and will get finished quickly

Overall verdict:- 1.5/5

The subtracted marks are for the bad packaging and because it doesn't last on the waterline. 

I do not recommend this product. And I definitely won't be re/purchasing any master drama cream pencils.

Like I've mentioned in my Maybelline Haul post, I wanted these pencils because of their names. Come on, "Master Drama", "Midnight Master", these are pretty attractive names to a beauty enthusiast. Also, I saw the Maybelline website photos and these are supposed to be waterline safe, the model in the picture has it on her eye lid and her waterline. So why not? How often do you come across a cheap brown eye liner which is automatic i.e does not have to be sharpened? Not very often. But this post is about Midnight Master which is a Black eye liner. Sorry if I have confused you!

For both the pencils i.e, midnight master and bold brown, my views on packaging and texture are same.

Being a make up newbie, there are so many things I'm using for the first time. When I read all those "empties" and "faves" posts on the gazillion beauty blogs out there, I begin to think, "May be I should do a firsts post!" Wouldn't that be interesting? But with me, it will be a reaaally long list, a job for another day.

On the note of firsts, this is my first gel liner. I don't have the Maybelline gel liner sold in Indian markets but I got this one! As the cover says, its New and Improved formula made to last until 36 hours, so it should be better than the previous one. This a part of my Maybelline Haul from Singapore.

The packaging:-

It comes in a little plastic tub. The tub which has the gel inside is circular but it has a square cut. Kinda like L'Oreal Infalliable Eyeshadows. The previous Maybelline gel liner comes in a round tub. The square cut makes it easy to hold in one hand, while I line my eyes using my other hand.
