Natural Remedies for Dry Damaged Hair - Apple Cider Vinegar

Its not been long since I started using Apple Cider Vinegar on my hair. I started using it in March this year, and we’re nearing the end of May now. I have stated previously in posts such as My Hair Story tag about my hair problems. The bottom half of my hair is dry - damaged. Any chemical based product I used failed to cure it from being damaged. To top it off, I also started getting dandruff. My hair was pretty much the definition of damaged goods.

The Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo Review

Almost everyone I know has had dandruff at some point. I felt that I was so lucky because I had never gotten it. Then I ran out of this good fortune last year, because I also got it :(

My Hair Story Tag

Hello dear readers

Today I'm going to be doing a tag post, like the title suggests. No one has tagged me, but I have been battling so many hair issues simultaneously that I thought, what the hell, let me just put it all in one place so that I can use it as a reference for future posts. The only fun way I could think of doing that is this tag. I think its pretty cool and I was able to get out most of the information about my hair, just one thing though, TMI alert. I hope you won't be grossed out by some of the stuff you read !

BBLUNT Climate Control Anti-Frizz Leave-In Cream Review

I’ve never used leave-in conditioners before this BBlunt Anti-Frizz Leave-In Cream. My hair is dry-damaged. I don’t have thick hair but its not thin either. I am using the L’Oreal Mythic Oil serum but I decided to replace it with the BBlunt Anti-Frizz Leave-In Cream to see how it fares.

Detangling my hair knots with the Tangle Teezer Salon Elite and Compact Styler Hair Brushes

Now I never thought I’d be reviewing a hair brush on my blog, but when the darn thing costs you a bomb, you do it. Also, this product seems to be really coveted, so I thought I’ll just put in my experience and maybe if you’re really interested in buying it, you can read a well rounded review before spending your $$$.

About the brushes:
Tangle Teezer Salon Elite is a professional detangling brush which will effortlessly banish tangles and knots from all hair types. Featuring patented, uniquely designed teeth which flex and flick as they glide through the hair, Tangle Teezer Salon Elite eliminates tangles and knots on contact and minimises breakage, damage and splitting often caused by tugging and pulling on the hair shaft
Tangle Teezer Compact Styler Detangling Brush is an innovative hairbrush that is just too fabulous! Extremely cute in size and high on style, it can be tucked into your bag and pulled out in lesser than a minute to recharge hair in seconds.

Enliven Silicone Free Hair Conditioners Review - Mango and Passionfruit, Raspberry and Red Apple, Kiwi and Fig

I haven’t talked in detail about any hair conditioners on my blog because most of them have stopped working on my hair in 6 months. So I really had nothing to talk about them. Enliven Hair Conditioners are a little different because they are silicone free, so I felt like sharing my thoughts on them. I started out with the Mango & Passionfruit variant, however when I let my mom & sister try it out, they loved it a lot so they purchased the remaining variants – Raspberry & Red appleKiwi & Fig for themselves. All three literally perform the same, the only difference is the fragrance. Raspberry & Red Apple smells the best.

The First Easily Available Dry Shampoo in India - L'Oreal Techni Art Fresh Dust Dry Shampoo Review

Dry Shampoo have always sounded magical to me. You spray something on your head, and all of the oiliness (which normally needs two shampoo washes) is gone...whoosh! Like magic, no? Your hair frames your face and unless its not in proper shape, you’ll feel incomplete. I longed to have such a savior because my scalp gets oily sooner than the rest of my hair, and I wanted to postpone my hair wash by a day, or two . Any girl/woman who has a busy life will realize the importance of postponing hair wash by a day. Imaging that you have an exam tomorrow, but your scalp is greasy; you were so busy studying, you forgot to wash your hair all these days. Now what will you do? Take a head bath and risk losing a precious hour of study? Or maybe you can sleep lesser and utilize that time to wash your hair? If you had a dry shampoo you wouldn't have to lose any time.

If you don't know what a dry shampoo is, read THIS article, its pretty helpful!

Sadly I realized that dry shampoos are not available in India, I searched all international shopping sites to find dry shampoos what would fit my budget but I couldn’t find any. Then L’Oreal came to my rescue by introducing their Techni Art Fresh Dust Dry Shampoo earlier this year.  I grabbed it the minute my nearby salon stocked it, and they had stocked just one! :O
